Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Talli, Inc. ("Talli," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Talli POS platform and services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, business name, email address, and billing information. We also collect transaction data, device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage logs automatically when you use the Service.
2. Payment Information
Talli does not store full payment card numbers. Card transactions are processed by our certified payment partners (iPOS/Dejavoo, SPIN). We may store tokenized references or the last four digits of a card for display purposes only.
3. Customer Data You Process
When you use Talli to process transactions for your customers, you are the data controller for your customers' personal data. Talli acts as a data processor on your behalf. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consent from your customers.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to: provide, operate, and improve the Service; process payments and send transaction receipts; communicate with you about your account; detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with: payment processors necessary to complete transactions; cloud infrastructure providers (Google Firebase); and law enforcement when required by law. All third parties are bound by data protection agreements.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Google Firebase services in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account and transaction data for as long as your account is active and for a period of 7 years thereafter to comply with financial record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of personal data not subject to retention requirements.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; object to or restrict certain processing; and receive a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@tallipos.com.
9. Cookies and Analytics
The web version of Talli may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to remember your preferences and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect Service functionality.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
